Chartering
The commercial foundation of our integrated shipping & trading model.
Chartering is a core pillar of Titan Shipping & Trading's business and the commercial foundation of our integrated shipping and trading model. By combining market intelligence, commercial expertise and operational execution, we secure efficient vessel employment for both third-party cargo and the growing transportation needs of our own commodity trading activities.
Operating across the global dry bulk market, we focus on creating commercially sound opportunities while delivering reliable service to shipowners, charterers and cargo interests.

Our chartering activities are primarily managed through our Swiss office, where our team oversees the commercial employment of Handy, Supramax and Panamax vessels. Every fixture is planned with a clear objective: securing the most suitable employment while positioning tonnage to respond to changing market conditions and optimise earnings.
Freight markets change constantly. We continuously analyse market conditions, evaluate trading opportunities and work closely with owners, brokers and cargo interests to identify commercially attractive employment for every vessel.
Building long-term relationships is equally important. Every prospective charterer and business partner is carefully screened before cooperation begins, ensuring reliability, transparency and confidence throughout every fixture. As our operations continue to grow, we remain focused on strengthening relationships with cargo interests and expanding contract employment opportunities for our fleet.

Commercial Operations
Successful chartering extends well beyond concluding a fixture. Our commercial operations team manages every stage of the voyage, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective execution while protecting the commercial interests of our clients and partners.
Throughout each voyage, our operators remain in constant communication with vessel Masters, charterers, brokers, port agents and bunker suppliers. This close coordination allows operational decisions to be made quickly, minimises delays and supports efficient voyage performance.
Commercial and operational departments work together throughout the voyage, identifying potential issues early and responding promptly to changing conditions. This integrated approach helps maximise profitability while maintaining the reliability our partners expect.

Supporting an Integrated Supply Chain
Chartering is closely connected with every part of Titan's business. It supports our ocean freight activities, strengthens our commercial logistics capabilities and provides the shipping infrastructure behind our expanding Grain and Salt divisions.
By integrating chartering with commodity trading and logistics, Titan maintains greater control over the movement of cargo while delivering a more efficient and reliable service across the supply chain.
